Students will meet at Loyola School
(East 83 rd Street between Park & Madison Avenues)
Yorkville is proud to present a new program for your child to learn the great game of golf. Join us at the new turf field in Loyola High School this spring as our resident golf expert, Jesse Levine, will introduce the skills and the correct forms of putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing; as well as the rules and etiquette of the game.
Jesse Levine was introduced to the game of golf at the young age of three by his father. After learning how to hit with plastic golf clubs he went on a golf course for the first time at 5 years old. At the age of 8 he hit his first Hole in One on a 115 yard par 3, and became part of The First Tee, a nationwide golf program where he was the youngest golfer ever to be allowed into their “Eagle” program. In 4th grade Jesse started playing local junior golf tournaments in the MGA tour and US Kids tour.
From 8th-10th grade Jesse worked at The First Tee golf camp as a golf coach for children. In 11th and 12th grade Jesse qualified to be a part of the New York State High School golf tournament, and played in the Mayor’s Cup, the biggest golf tournament for high school students in New York City, finishing 4th out of 76 students.
Jesse is now a 4 handicap and a student at St John’s University. For the last year Jesse has been giving golf lessons to friends and family and is eager to help the next group of students learn the game of golf.
