Yorkville-Recommended Tutoring Program:

Dear Families,

It is with great excitement that the Yorkville Youth Athletic Association brings to our organization an association with Club Z In-Home Tutoring.

We all know the value of athletics as a means to improve skills, build confidence and instill a sense of fair play. However, it is through education that our players will learn the necessary skills that will help them achieve their lifetime goals of success.

Club Z is dedicated to bring to our community a tutoring service that will work with our players and their parents to help each student reach their academic goals. One of Club Z's directors is Dr. Michael Marin. Mike is a long time personal friend who volunteered time as a coach for many years while his 3 children participated with Yorkville. Mike's partner, Barry Goldberg is a life long New Yorker who has raised 2 children of his own and values the importance of education. Both of them are caring and compassionate parents who like all of us at Yorkville are dedicated to the success of each of our players.

Mike and Barry bring to Club Z a dedication and willingness to help our kids achieve in the classroom. They have recruited an experienced and enthusiastic group of tutors who love to teach. Many of their tutors are certified teachers and others are degreed professionals who are passionate about education.

I encourage each of you to contact Mike and Barry to discuss with them any educational questions you may have. I am confident you will be extremely impressed with their hands on approach, their programs and their willingness to work hard for your child's success.
