FIELD LOCATIONS

Randalls Island

Take the FDR Drive or First Avenue to the Triboro Bridge. Use the EZ Pass Lane or the first Cash Lane from the Left hand side of the toll plaza. After leaving the toll plaza, bear left. You will see a sign for Randall's Island. Proceed down the ramp. At the bottom of the ramp go right and then turn left at the first left you can make. Cross the road and go into the park. You will see a tennis center and bathrooms on the right side. Continue to the right on that road and proceed around the circle. Fields 21 and 23 will be on your right.

Heckscher Fields

Fields 1-6 are located in Central Park between 65th Street and 63rd Street. The are directly south of the 66-65th Street Transverse and immediately south and west of the Carousel. The fields are located due North of the 7th Avenue. Fields 1,2, 4, 5, and 6 are grass and dirt fields located in an oval near the Carousel. Field #3 is an all dirt field just to the west of the big rocks near the Heckscher playground.

The Great Lawn

Located in Central Park, due West of the Metropolitan Museum, the southern end of the Great Lawn is located around 81st-82nd Street. The North end is located about 85th Street. Great Lawn Fields 7 and 8 are located immediately South of the 84th-86th Street Transverse. Great Lawn Field #3 is located at approximately 83rd Street.

Asphalt Green

Asphalt Green is located between 90th and 91st Streets on York Avenue. The entrance to Asphalt Green is at the far east end of 90th Street at the Murphy Center. Just before you enter the doors to the Murphy Center, turn left and walk through the gates to the field.

Queensboro Oval

Under the Queensboro (59th Street Bridge)
between York Avenue and First Avenue.

North Meadow

Located just to the north of the reservoir in Central Park.

Roosevelt Island Octagon Field

From Manhattan, take the 59th Street Bridge (Upper Level) to 21st Street. Take 21st Street to 36th Avenue. Make left onto 36th Ave. Continue to Roosevelt Island via the 36th Avenue Bridge. Octagon Field is on the Queens side of the island, just south of the tennis courts. If you drive over on the 36th Avenue bridge from Queens, you must go north once you get on the island.

Whitey Ford Field

Take the Triboro Bridge to Queens staying in the right lane. Take the very first exit upon crossing the bridge (31 Street, Astoria Blvd.) and stay to the far right. Make an immediate right onto 29th Street. Go one block and make a right onto Astoria Blvd. Proceed on Astoria Blvd until it crosses 21 Street where the road forks. Take the right fork, which is 27 Avenue, take 27th Avenue to 2nd Street and turn right onto 2nd Street. Proceed one block to the field. Address is 2nd Street and 26th Avenue, Astoria New York, 11102.

Scanlan Field (Travel Baseball)

Take the Bruckner to the Zerega Ave exit; Go through the light and go over the drawbridge; At the light (Brush Ave) make a right; Field on the left hand side after the Home Depot.
