The Yorkville Youth Athletic Association exists to serve the children of New York City.
We seek to encourage positive attitudes and growth through teamwork and sportsmanship,
attendance, fair play, respect for all, hard work, integrity and fun in sports, music and drama
programs, leagues, and camps. |
- 103rd St. Pedestrian Bridge Re-Opens July 1. The NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) announced that the 103rd Street Pedestrian Bridge will re-open for access to Randall’s Island on Friday, July 1 at 7 am. The bridge will close at dusk each day through the Fall of 2011. Completed work at this time does not include lighting on the bridge. On November 1 the bridge will close to complete remaining contract work, re-opening in the spring of 2012.
